New Hula Gallery Feature: Live Feed

Hula Gallery has now released a new feature to make your events even more engaging. Test out live feed now!

The purpose of the Hula Gallery app has always been to create a more social and engaging photo booth experience for guests at events. They’re able to share their photos directly to social media or with friends, and if they have access to the gallery, they can see how other attendees enjoyed their experience.

To make your events even more special for guests, we’ve just recently released a new, much-requested feature for your galleries - Live Feed. Now, you’re able to project images directly to screens at your events. All images, including the GIFs and Burst GIFs, that are uploaded to the gallery autoplay in real-time.

With the new live feed feature, you’re able to select how long you would like for the duration of screen-time for the image assets and logo, choose your background colour, and select the order you would like the images to appear in. It’s super simple but super professional.

One of the greatest things about this feature is that having Live Feed enabled won’t affect your other settings. This means that you’re still able to have hidden, password protected or white labelled galleries for private functions, but still give the guests an opportunity to see all the photos from the night while they’re at the event. Your live feed will have its own unique URL which can be shared with the venue when setting up the screens, there’s no need for guests to ever need access.

Best of all, the live feed will stay live even if the internet crashes. While new images won’t be displayed until a connection is restored, the feed will continue to show the photos that were taken prior to the crash. The guests will hardly notice!

The live feed can be enabled or disabled and configured when creating a gallery, or at a later date from its settings.
